For many St. Patrick’s Day or the Feast of Saint Patrick is mainly about food and alcohol consumption. One would think Ireland’s patron saint was a monk who partied a lot and got drunk. But behind the legend and myth, there’s a real Patrick who was “intoxicated” with a life of serving God and spreading the gospel.
